CARDIAC AI PARTNER (CAIP) comprises an artificial intelligence (AI) cloud-based system for detecting heart conditions that may need immediate medical attention, using a wearable ECG device.

The algorithm used by the CAIP APP has the capability to compare single-lead ECG data acquired by a wearable ECG device and detect if these data results are similar or different to others that typically present normal or abnormal conditions in the database used. The accuracy in this comparison is up to 91%. After the comparison, CAIP suggests the user to contact emergency services or to continue keeping attention about his/her feeling.

Our objective is to give a quick answer regarding the meaning of the perceived symptoms. In the case we detect an urgent situation, we will reduce the time between the appearance of symptoms and treatment. The diagnosis is made by the health professional in the medical center, but thanks to this software, that diagnosis is on time.

Who is Cardionomous?:
Cardionomous is a medical artificial intelligence company focused on transforming cardiology by enhancing human capabilities. The main objective of Cardionomous is to create accessible and easy-to-use tools that can mitigate the consequences produced by cardiovascular diseases.

Why should I use Cardiac AI Partner?:
Usually, when the symptoms of a potential heart problem appear (e.g., pain or discomfort in the center of the chest) we do not know what is causing the pain, so we wait for it to disappear. If the symptoms persist, we may begin to suspect a problem that could need medical attention. However, being able to verify this with a 12-lead electrocardiogram is out of reach, both because of the probability of not having the device and how to interpret it. Due to the above, we -with considerable delay- take action and request medical assistance.

Literature has demonstrated an explicit relationship between mortality and time delay from symptom onset to treatment. Reducing this time represents a significant challenge since this measure relies mainly on patient perception and initiative. Therefore, there is a need for a system or device that can indicate a probability that there is a coronary problem that needs medical attention in progress so that the patient can request help in a prompt manner.
